Travel Wisconsin predicts the peak fall foliage throughout the state

The first day of fall is Thursday, and Travel Wisconsin has released the forecast for the peak colors around the state.

Rhinelander is currently at 15% and the estimated week of the peak for the fall foliage is during the 1st week of October. Minocqua is at 20% and peak is expected to be during the 4th week of September. 

The map is saying that Oshkosh is reporting 30% foliage, which is the second highest in the state behind the Cable area. The peak foliage during the fourth week of October for Oshkosh. the peak time in Cable is expected to be during the fourth week of September.

 Most of the foliage in North-Central Wisconsin is between 0% and 20%.

According to Travel Wisconsin, they’re more than 100 fall color reporters. There is a at least one reporter in every county. 

Travel Wisconsin also has ideas for trips and events throughout the state. They also encourage you to send in your photos of the best fall colors in the state.
